Tonya Geese

I am the owner and Broker-in-Charge of Better Real Estate Carolinas. I received my real estate license in 2009 and am licensed in North and South Carolina. 

I started this business after working for several other real estate firms because I knew I could do better for my clients without being held back by the typical "profit first" business directive.

I know how important homeownership is to the stability and financial health of a person and their family. I believe owning your home can be part of having a better life. 

While this can be an exciting and positive milestone of growth in a persons' life, I also know that sometimes selling your home is due to a negative life experience like divorce, loss of a job, or a cancer diagnosis. In these cases, profit should not be the driving factor in decision making. 

As the owner of this firm, I am able to make decisions based on empathy and love for my clients, not profit. I am also able to encourage my fellow agents to do the same when the opportunity arises. 

Prior to working as a real estate agent, I learned the mortgage industry as a loan officer. This experience gives me a unique  insight I use to educate and protect my clients. 

Having grown up in Charlotte, I enjoy sharing hometown secrets and little-known hidden gems with my clients. My main goal is to care for each client by always putting their unique needs first.
